Yesterday I said "Follow the Money" as a way of saying, "There must be something more to the "business/stewardship" reason for canceling Issues, Etc. Is there ever! Check out "Finances, Etc." over on "Save the LCMS." Do you think we can count on consistency and integrity in leadership to apply the same reasoning with which they canceled Issues, Etc. to the "Fan into Flames" program? Probably not. Maybe we'll just have to watch as the synodical budget (pardon the pun, but I just can't resist) goes down in flames.
